Happy Tuesday!

It’s officially summer!  We’re working on so many exciting things this week - here’s a peek:

  • Cloaked starts its last week of performances today.  I finally saw it last week and so can officially vouch for its awesomeness.  The hype is true - the music is GREAT and the blend of instrumentation is so powerful in The Shop.  The acting was excellent - I was exhausted by the range of emotions I experienced from watching that I can’t imagine how the cast manages to pull out the stops every night.

After Saturday’s show, audience member Lana emailed me to say that “[Cloaked] was an excellent show with great acting & singing in it!  The story line also kept me very interested!”  Thanks, Lana!  Everyone else: come see this show before it sells out!

  • Two representatives from our Conservatory are at the 2010 Thespian Festival this week!  The Thespian Festival features more than fifty productions presented by high schools from throughout North America and abroad and is held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Our super CAP21 reps, Aimee and Vernon, will be hosting auditions for our Two Year Professional Program and handing out all sorts of cool materials!  If you’re attending, stop by and say hi!

How is your Tuesday going?
